About Maruti Suzuki Driving School at Pratham Motors

Road safety is a key concern area for both the Government and the people on Indian roads. Safe driving today requires a higher level of confidence and competence, given the poor traffic planning, increasing number of vehicles, lack of professionalism in driving and untrained drivers on road. In a bid to address these issues, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. has launched Maruti Suzuki Driving School - its initiative for promoting safe driving.

MSDS not just imparts better driving skills but also tries to inculcate safe driving culture through special theoretical sessions for behavioural training and road sense. The school was the first to introduce advanced driving training simulator for better judgment and concept of route maps for holistic on-road practice.

I have completed my driving course with MSDS on 23rd April, 2015 (theory pending). My experience with the team at Kudlu has been very good.

I appreciate the flexibility of the program. To begin with, I was unable to come to the office or be available for a meeting to make the payments, but the staff were very kind and made it possible for me to make the payments online. I was also very happy that the classes could be scheduled according to my convenience. Moreover, I had a short time to spare and yet the classes were scheduled such that i could finish all the simulator and practical classes in 7 days. A couple of theory classes are pending but I have been assured that I can take these later and then give the examination at my convenience. I appreciate the flexibility at each stage as it made things much easier for me and I could learn driving in the short time that I had available.

The course program is well structured and makes it easy for a beginner to understand and learn driving. The simulator classes give one a feel and practice of the steps to be executed while driving and I found it particularly useful in the beginning. I also liked the different options offered by the simulator for driving in various conditions. I had the opportunity to interact with several members of the team at Kudlu. Most of my practical classes were taken by Mr. Prashanth and Mr. Sajan. I interacted with Mr. Mahalingappa during theory classes and one practical class. All the instructors were very good. I got to learn a lot from them and often they would share their wisdom, gained from their experiences. They were very patient, alert and taught well. I got the opportunity to experience and drive in a variety of conditions including narrow roads as well as high traffic roads. I was also very pleased with the inclusion of the wheel changing instructions in the last class.

In all, I had a wonderful experience at MSDS-Kudlu and thank the instructors for doing a great job. I was also very satisfied in my interaction with initially, Ms. Mamtha on the phone and later, Mr. Srinivas (especially for the scheduling of the classes), during the course.

It was a great experience doing my driving training in Maruti Suzuki Driving School; entire training was well planned to suit my preferences. Theory classes were very informative. The way it was delivered is very much appreciable. These classes includes video clips of driving, defensive driving techniques, demonstrating the theory by showing the real parts of car, which helps to know the basic internals of car as well enhances your driving skills.Simulators session were very well planned along with practicals. Each simulation class is planned in such way that before going for practical i would have had a hands on experience on each control.

The instructors at practicals are very supportive and professional. They are highly experienced and the technique with which they instruct you is exceptional. They will be giving valuable tips all through your class which really helps a lot. Fun thing was i was trained to change the wheels of the car too. Each minute things are covered in their curriculum.
